There is an own airport close to the city center of Salzburg, however because it's a small one flights there are sometimes a little pricey or inconveniently timed. As an option we also recommend flying to Munich or Vienna. From there you can easily reach Salzburg by train or car. These are big airports so flights are cheaper, especially to Munich. Also, you might end up enjoying those cities ;)
